I lived in Yellowknife back in 1986-87, and have fond memories of this place. I'm currently trying to get hold of an old buddy whom I believe is still in Yellowknife. His name is Phil Nolan. He was an engineer with the N.W.T.. Hi! I was in Yellowknife a few years ago and never forgot the experience. Your city definitely has an excellent historic backround. One of my favorite parts was walking through the old part of town, near the Great Slave Lake. It was real fun to be up there, and I'd like to get back some day. By the way, eating at the Wildcat Cafe was great, too.
