My wife grew up in Yellowknife and speaks highly of the area and community in all but one area. The Funeral Industry. Her father passed away in '92 and has terrible memmories of the event and the manner inwhich the family was treated by the funeral home. I am a recent graduate from the Alberta School of Mortuary Science based out of Calgary. I would be most interested in opening my own Funeral Home in the community and provide a necessary service which she claims is terribly needed there. This would include full embalming, cremation and a full variety of funeral services to deal with the wide diversity of ethnic cultures based in the Yellowknife area.
Would you be able to provide any information to me regarding this area presently in the community.
